BredaNu - Volunteer Video Production
Concluding my internship and earning my degree from Breda University didn't mark the end of my collaboration with the local broadcaster. Since the conclusion of my internship, I've maintained a connection with both former and current colleagues. I gladly made myself available for volunteer opportunities as they come. This ongoing commitment involves engaging in tasks similar to those I undertook during my internship, contributing to the production of news items and participating in live TV shows such as Sanseveria TV and Swim to Fight Cancer.
Ver van Thuis - Producer, Director & Editor

"Ver van Thuis" (Far from Home) is a dutch documentary made in collaboration with Urban Living Lab Breda. It tells the stories of three women who fled from war, out of Ukraine and into The Netherlands/Belgium. It shows their perspective of the ongoing conflict at their homeland and the consequences it has on their own lives.
The documentary tries to reflect on the current situation with a heavy focus on the people affected by the conflict that it's destroying their homes and raise awareness on the local community in the hope to continue aiding the refugee cause.
Social Media Advertisement
In one of my initial professional roles, I assumed the responsibilities of content creation and social media management for a local pub. My primary undertaking involved production of video promotional content, from start to end,, including advertisements highlighting the new menu and upcoming events. This content was strategically disseminated across all digital channels and prominently featured on in-house screens on a daily basis.

Beyond these initiatives, my role as a content creator and social media manager extended to the design and development of weekly posts and the production of high-quality imagery capturing the essence of new menu offerings. These visuals were instrumental in various promotional media campaigns, showcasing a commitment to excellence in brand representation and engagement.
BredaNu - AV Producer
During my internship at BredaNu, I held the role of AV Producer, a position that primarily involved the filming and editing of news items, TV shows and documentaries. Additionally, I had the unique opportunity to step into the role of a presenter, delivering the weekly news on several occasions. This multifaceted experience not only sharpened my skills in audiovisual production but also provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape. From capturing impactful visuals to refining storytelling techniques, my role as an AV Producer at BredaNu was instrumental in shaping my proficiency in media content creation and presentation as well as a unique first-hand experience in journalistic media practices.
Pervin Proeft - Producer & Editor (BredaNu)
During my internship at the local broadcaster BredaNu, I assumed a multifaceted role as the producer, director, and editor of the ongoing TV cooking show "Pervin Proeft." The showcased example is just one among many produced over the course of a year. In addition to overseeing the creative process, my responsibilities included coordinating meetings with guests, planning schedules, scouting locations, and handling the entire filming and editing process for each episode.
This position offered significant creative autonomy, allowing me to not only emphasize the culinary aspects of the show but also to adapt the format to provide insights into the cultural backgrounds, histories, and other pertinent facts about the dishes featured from various countries. This approach added a unique dimension to the show, enriching the viewer experience with diverse cultural perspectives.
For more episodes in which I played a key role, please refer to BredaNu's official YouTube channel under the title "Pervin Proeft," encompassing the entirety of Season 3 and a selection of earlier productions.
